In Defense of Bonds(?)

It was brought to my attention today (via sports radio) that a few months ago some French journalists wrote with "conclusive proof" that Lance Armstrong used steroids to help him capture his seven Tour de France wins. Most Americans (including the sober one) found this report incredulous. Bitter French who hate Armstrong, who is a sports hero.
Now two San Francisco Cronicle reporters have produced "proof" that Barry Bonds was juiced while he pursued both Mark McGwire's single season record and Hank Aaron's career record of home runs. Is it fair to assume Bonds is guilty based on hearsay when Armstrong was given the benefit of the doubt? No. So, I will no longer refer to Bonds as a juiced jerk. Instead I will simply think of him as a jerk who probably did but may not have done steroids. He deserves that much.
